This is a wonderful contract opportunity for individuals who love to fuse their artistic prowess with insightful strategies to create impactful learning experiences.

As an Instructional Design Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in taking our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training, specifically tailored for the LGBTQ+ community, to the next level. Your primary mission will be to design, implement, and improve our educational materials, ensuring they effectively convey our core principles while engaging and inspiring our audience.

Preferred candidates will have a relevant degree in a related field, such as Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a similarly focused area of study. However, we also welcome enthusiastic junior designers who can demonstrate their dedication to learning and showcasing their talents in this role.

Key responsibilities:

1. Designing, developing, and refining our LGBTQ+-specific DEI training content
2. Collaborating with our team to establish course objectives and standards
3. Applying innovative design principles to create engaging and interactive learning modules
4. Regularly reviewing and updating existing training materials
5. Implementing feedback to continually improve our learning resources

What we’re looking for:

1. A keen eye for detail and excellent visual design skills
2. Strong knowledge of instructional design models
3. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate complex ideas
4. Compassion and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and a commitment to promoting inclusivity in our content
